Chief Olu Falae, National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has quit active politics.
News of his decision to retire from active politics was disclosed on Friday morning.
He cited health challenges as the reason for his decision.
Sometime ago, Chief Falae was kidnapped by people suspected to be herdsmen in his farm.
SDP has recently been embrolied in court actions regarding their candidacy for 2019 Presidential elections.
